100 happy days

 Day 57: Mr Chuckles is coming home from Ireland today!

Day 56: Frank Sinatra and a glass and a half of bubbly!!

Day 55: Making delicious brunch (having late breakfast hence "brunch") consisting of omelette, water melon:) and a donut. Spent the afternoon with mam and dad, having ice cream and feeling like a little girl :D

Day 54: Cycling through beautigul scenery. Getting my adorable car a nice ol' wash :)

Day 53: Lovely weather and good music. Pizza-night awaits a little later :)

Day 52: Making bisques with lemon mousse and hanging out with my parents and sister, as per usual on Fridays.

Day 51: Sharing stories and chuckling with my mister :)

Day 50: Finally done grooming one of the flowerbeds :)

Day 49:  This has been a crappy day, but at least my summer holiday started :)

Day 48: Schmoosie insisted on going outdoors despite the rain. Five minutes later he returned to let me know he wanted to come back in. He was wet and miau-ing as to tell me he was indeed quite wet, while cunningly rubbing his wet fur against my trousers. It made me chuckle :)


Day 47: Went to my favourite bakery for coffee and pastry with Mr Chuckles. Before that we had visited a gallery to search for paintings made by our late friend.

Day 46: Wohooo!! Last day at work before summer holiday :) I hurried home to plant the roses in the garden.

Day 45: Cleaned up in the garden, making it ready to plant marvellousness. I will award Schmoosie for helping out (well, he was mainly biting my ancles but I'll give him bonus points for keeping me company) by planting some catnip as soon as the flowerbed is ready :) 

 

Day 44: Everyone loves my hair :D Cleaner says she will get the same haircut :)

Day 43: Cut my hair at the only hairdresser I'll let near it. It's quite short now and that is such a relief! Also, bought a Hello Kitty-watch to use at work. Brilliant!

Day 42: Get to leave work early today. I intend to eat soft ice swamped with sprinkles!! Yay sprinkles!! :D

Day 41: For the first time in my life I saw a wild boar :D It was black, swift and large. I thought it was a labrador dog first...

Day 40: I saw a horse-baby snuggling the mammy-horse :D

Day 39: Finally got to plant those lilacs in the garden. Next year will be beautiful :)

Day 38: Watching TV-shows I like. Supporting Mr Chuckles when he is feeling low. Being greated by Schmoosie when i come home from work. I get loads of kisses :D

Day 37: Taking charge of my life and putting myself first for a change. Also making neighbour chuckle :)

Day 36: Going out for lunch with sister. Admiring how she learned to eat with chopsticks while in China :)

Day 35: Went shopping with parents and sister like in the good old days :)


Day 34: Visited grandma. Got a back rub.

Day 33: Booked a hotel for the upcoming Irish excursion to Clare.

Day 32: Friday again! Got to leave work early... and the Mister let me watch "Roy the cartoon boy" :D

Day 31: Booked and organized this year's trip to Ireland. Yay!

Day 30: Being there for my special someone. Also met an old woman with an amazing accent :)

Day 29:  I love being e-mailed the order acknowledgement by the printing worker. I've never met the man but he's always so nice and witty. It makes my day :)

Day 28:  Mr Chuckles finishes work in a timely manner so I get dinner without having to be the grumpiest grump in the world!

Day 27: Went to see the ponies!! 

Day 26: Hanging my new picture in the living-room. Beautiful!

Day 25: Midsummer celebrations and also making balloons static and make them stick to everything :D

Day 24: Colleagues and friends who care about my well-being.

Day 23: Really happy to hear mr Chuckles enjoying his new moped. Also happy to see the ants work their way into my sitting-room from the terrace. Will of course have them killed, but they're still fascinating! :)

Day 22: I woke up with the cat sleeping by my side. I'm not sure when he got there but I was ever so happy to see his tired little snout. Both him and mr Chuckles were fast asleep when I got up. Quite beautiful :)

Day 21: I love my Mr Chuckles. Also, today we got him a moped. I'm so happy to see him happy :)

Day 20: Sister came over to see me. We cleaned the terrace and listened to world music. She even brought homemade lemonade :)

Day 19: Going out for dinner and making restaurant singer feel good by extra praise :)

Day 18: Friday bubbly!!

Day 17: Having a cool bath after a warm and stressful day at work. Cambodian bath salt and munching melon makes floating about extra fun!

Day 16: Got the dog-having-tea-picture!! (still happy about it), video game dispatched and will pick up special schampoo after work :)

Day 15: The weapon guy is an adorable old grump :)

Day 14: New recruits have arrived. Busy, busy :)

Day 13: Mother and sister scouted a painting for me (one that I've been dying to get my hands on for a while). I hope I will be able to buy it :)

Day 12: Went shopping for hair clips and ordered a video game from Amazon.

Day 11: Adorable little lambs!! :)

Day 10: Friday bubbly on a Thursday! (I'm off tomorrow: Yay, long weekend!!)

Day 9: This was a scrappy day! But the silverlining was seeing little birds nesting in an ashtray at work and two hedgehogs strutting around in my garden :)

Day 8: Getting my eyebrows plucked by a beautician. I hate plucking my eyebrows, better make someone else do it.

Day 7: Random happiness! Sun is shining and I'm terribly happy for no special reason.

Day 6: Sleep-in! :)

Day 5: Sister home from a year in China! :)

Day 4: Sigge the Cat (aka Schmoosie) :) I consider myself blessed with the stray, orange cat who adopted and moved in with me and my partner in October 2013. Mr Chuckles didn't like cats and my parents adviced me not to get any pets .... but he's here now and everybody changed their minds and totally adore him :)

Day 3: Being looked after by my special someone. I feel bad and lazy if I don't sort and fix all sorts of things when I'm off. Today I am very tired and have about a million things on my to-do-list... but after doing a few with a little bit of help, I was told to rest up and not run about the place :)

Day 2:  We have a new cleaner in the office. She told me how she thinks my face glitters and my eyes sparkle with life and friendliness. I'm a sucker for honest compliments :)

Day 1: I love getting changing into (and out of) my uniform in the dressing room at work. The lads usually tell very funny stories - and I love stories :)
